The HP22-N pellet stove is a new model in the ComfortBilt product line. It shares the same features as the HP22 model, with a taller design that accommodates a larger hopper. The extra-large hopper holds up to 80 pounds of wood pellets. With five power settings, the stove can operate for up to 36 hours on the lowest setting without adding more pellets.
The HP22-N includes a heat exchanger design and a powerful room blower to maximize heat output from wood pellets. In mild temperatures, this stove can heat an area of up to 2,800 square feet. Like all ComfortBilt pellet stoves, the HP22-N is EPA and CSA Certified, meeting federal emissions standards.
The HP22-N-SS version features stainless steel trim around the bay view window.

Tax Credit Program

From 2023 through December 31, 2032, consumers who purchase qualifying high-efficiency wood or pellet stoves or larger residential biomass heating systems may be eligible for a 30% tax credit. The credit is capped at $2,000 per year and applies to the total cost of the unit, including purchase and installation.
This 30% tax credit applies to appliances installed between January 1, 2023, and December 31, 2032. Customers may claim the credit when filing taxes using IRS Form 5695 under "Residential Energy Efficient Property Credit." A purchase receipt showing product and installation costs is required. A manufacturer certificate stating that the stove qualifies for the credit and has a 75% or higher HHV efficiency rating is also required.
The credit applies to qualifying wood and pellet stoves. Gas stoves do not qualify. Individuals with no tax liability may not qualify for the credit. Customers are advised to consult a qualified tax professional to determine eligibility.
