The stove features a two-stage air intake system: the front primary air inlet ignites the fire during startup, while the rear secondary air inlet channels air through three ignition tubes above the firebox. This top-and-bottom ignition process maximizes combustion efficiency and ensures you get the most heat from every piece of wood. The US1100E-L meets rigorous EPA certification standards and replaces the earlier Defender model.
