Description
The US Stove GW1949 Wiseway pellet stove offers a unique solution by eliminating the need for electricity, using a natural gravity feed system instead of the usual electrical and mechanical components found in typical pellet heaters. This patented design is the only non-electric pellet stove on the market that is both EPA certified and UL listed. Operating the Wiseway is simple: heat the burn chamber and flue with a propane torch to start the pellet flow, then the natural draft takes over to bring the stove up to temperature. You can easily control the heat output by adjusting the fresh air intakes on the front.

A window lets you watch the flame as it moves up through the stove’s body. Without electricity, heat is radiated through 3.5-inch tubing and steel baffles located at the back. The stove’s minimal clearance requirements on the sides and rear make installation straightforward. Because it requires no power, the Wiseway is an excellent heating option for off-grid locations or places prone to power outages.
